Though many of my friends educated me about the City, the climate , the cost of living and friendly warmth of people, didn’t believe until I saw it for myself. Have to salute the police whom who encountered while this incident occurred. Please read the incident we faced which happened to us, which may happen to anyone.

We were returning from the fuel station late night, it was a long way back home. There were a couple of guys yelling in their car moving beside ours irritating us all the way, we ignored at first later they kept honking at us perpetually for around a kilometer or 2. We moved ‘left’ letting space for them on the right hand side of the road which was meant for the fast moving vehicles, but they too moved ‘left’ and still kept honking at us, then we decided to move ‘right’ again they too reciprocated our move and kept honking at us. We had now lost our cool.

Later tried to ignore them, but that didn’t work. They overtook us from right and tried to move us to the left most corner of the highway. Though we were alarmed initially waited for them to explain of their behavior. One of them walked to us and asked where were we from?. We said that we were from Bangalore. All of a sudden it was hard to explicate what got into them. They asked for our car keys and some cash we said we didn’t carry much cash, he started hitting my cousin until he started bleeding all over his face, I begged him to stop but it was too late that we noticed he was drunk, two other joined him who also were drunk, checked our car if we had something valuable, they didn’t find any. As one of them was attacking us both, the other two decided to take away our car. They then forced my cousin in the back seat of our car accompanied by one of those and the one hitting us drove our car away asking my cousin to sit in ‘their car’ with the 3rd guy who was driving their car and whispered that if I don’t go with them they would kill my cousin. At that point I was confused not knowing what to do luckily a car stopped a little ahead to whom I ran for help, having learnt my move they took my cousin away in his car, in a fraction of a second both the cars disappeared.

The person whom I approached for help, dropped me to the nearest police station, my heart choked, words stuck up my throat, I couldn’t move my feet, felt every step heavy, was worried if they would have killed my cousin, those drunk bastards.

Ran into the police station yelling for help, they asked every single detail of how the incident occurred. Then gave them my cousin’s mobile number to trace, but none of them attempted to make a move, later an officer felt pity for me and tried calling to that number to see if someone received, one of them received not knowing it was a cop’s number and demanded for a ransom and mentioned where to approach. Then forced the cop to come with me there to the spot where they were caught red hand. We all were taken to the police station and this is where interesting things happened.

We all were interrogated, we were physically hurt and were bleeding in every direction possible, but the police really cared a lot about the culprits by treating them warmth and care. A cop hit my cousin asking him to say what the truth was, he yelled “don’t you see am hurt and dizzy, I may faint did you not see it yourself? They were trying to extort money from us and you yourself caught them”, he stared at us and left, walked towards those bastards and were joyfully talking to them in ‘Regional Language’ it was too late we realized that a localite received special attention. He then asked that bastard why did he do all this? His reply was that he didn’t have enough money to celebrate his birthday and all the alcohol he had was over, hence for alcohol and to visit a brothel he needed money. Great!!! they were laughing aloud. God!!!!! Am so grateful to you for having created such people.

Cops2

One of those rotten cunts bribed him 3000 rupees receiving which they were let free, without even an alcohol test or warning. The cop didn’t hesitate much to demand 5000 rupees from us and bargained it to 2000 rupees scaring us that he would file a case against us and asked to leave, warning us.

Cop3

We when questioned them that why 3000 rupees for them and you demand 5000 rupees from us. For what?

  •  We were physically abused.
  •  We were being kidnapped.
  •  They tried to extort money from us.
  •  They were drunk, hence it was a drunk and driven case.
  •  They could have killed my cousin.
  •  We had a serious Eye Injury.
  •  They were caught red-handed on the spot.

Why us? Are we all not humans? Indians? A language judges what to be done? When questioned the police ‘what if those bastards, killed my cousin?’ there reply was- he’s not dead yet so why worry?.

Though these were some serious charges of – attempt to murder, extortion, kidnapping and loot, this meant nothing to them.

Well those police officers didn’t even file a case or filed an F.I.R, they made sure every single proof was being sabotaged and the icing on the sugar was, the guy who tried to extort money from us was given a royal treatment in the station not even was warned or charged of anything, though we were hurt and being kidnapped we had to bribe him for closure of case and were threatened to do so. God how loyal, courageous, friendly and efficient some of the policemen are. Do not know how many such cases are being shut but, this one taught me a lesson to stay away from these indecent cunts. Letting someone away even after committing such a crime, are actually encouraged to do more such deeds without hesitation. What I learnt was, if one can speak ‘Regional Language‘ can rape, loot, mug, murder or do anything with prices fixed ranging from 2000 rupees to 10000 rupees. The police didn’t file any case, they never thought of having a record of these bastards, did they even give a thought of- what if these cheap rogues do the same thing to others on any other highway? It may again be me or someone else like me or even you? How many such cases are against them till now or even those were denied of filing because they spoke Regional Language?

Cop1

What kind of justice is this if I had to bribe them why do I need a police station? I could have settled things with those bastards on highway why do I need a police?

I really felt happy, I was born Male, that day. What if it was a Woman in such a scenario?? (Probably the bribery charges would have been concessed!).

Thanking those dutiful police officers! “Some of the paid corrupts of our country”. Seriously, friendly cops can turn you corpse!

Please do not get me wrong here, I’m NOT writing this with any racism/ racial thoughts, I would have written it if it happened somewhere else as well. This is just my experience and not to offend or hurt someone’s feelings.

“Justice Bought Is Justice Denied”.

HERE IS THE PICTURE OF THE CAR (MH 04 ET 3883) OF THOSE BASTARDS (MARUTI ALTO) WHO MAY MUG OR RAPE OR HOMICIDE ANYONE FOR MONEY. SO PLEASE DO NOT STOP YOUR VEHICLE IF SOMEONE ATTEMPTS TO STOP YOU ON HIGHWAY AND PLEASE NOTE THIS REGISTRATION NUMBER AND STAY SAFE, AS I ALREADY HAVE LEARNT THAT FEW POLICEMEN MAY NOT SORT YOUR PROBLEM EVEN WHEN APPROACHED. THIS COUNTRY IS NOW FILLED WITH FEW CORRUPT OFFICIALS WHO ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH THEIR INCOME SO THEY NEED MORE HENCE THEY DON’T FILE ANY CASE AGAINST ANYONE OR ANY INCIDENT AS THAT IS ONE EASY WAY TO FILL THEIR POCKETS IN A SHORT TIME. SO GUYS SAVE YOURSELVES AND ALERT THE REST. PLEASE DO SHARE IF YOU HAVE COME ACROSS ANYTHING LIKE THIS.

Jonny Gammage was pulled over while driving his football star cousin’s Jaguar at 2 A.M. on October 12. As Gammage pulled over a total of five Brentwood police cars arrived on the scene. One of the officers said that Gammage ran three red lights before stopping after the officer flashed his lights at him. The officer ordered Gammage out of the car and saw him grab something that was reportedly a weapon, but in reality was just a cellular phone. The officer knocked the phone out of Gammage’s hand and a scuffle followed. The other officers beat Gammage with a flashlight, a collapsible baton and a blackjack as one put his foot on Gammage’s neck. Jonny Gammage died, handcuffed, ankles bound, facedown on the pavement shortly after the incident began. He was unarmed. well i have had such an horrifying experirnce with cops who were corrupt, irresponsible govt servants, “but racist cops ?” well that one extra point to corrupt police officers is really scary, who is responsible for the safety of outsiders or non-locals? who would just come to a place to survive just like any other or like if you were in a different city? racist cops are much dangerous than corrupt ones.
there are many places in India where cops are corrupt but, racist cops are too few to consider. unfortunately when you encounter them you will be baffled as mentioned in this situation.
this post might enrage many, but the question is ‘” why do you name this act PATRIOTISM?” being felt that you are targetted will not help. The question is “can you change your people in your respective cities?” or raise your voice against them all, as done here, irrespective of where or to whom you belong.

  3. Jeez,
That was a harrowing experience. Experiences with cops is always bumpy. Most of them are there not through merit, but bribe and their duty is to make money and not protect people.

  4. I duly respect the lingual patriotism of police officials and some rotten bastards, who consider a language- THE license to kill and loot.
